Flash has become increasingly popular in web design. It can add life, movement and even amazing special effects. Developers are pushing the envelope every day. Combined with XML and Action Script, you can find it in some of the coolest sites on the web today.

Not everyone likes it or needs it. It does increase the development time and cost. But it also often grabs your attention contributing to the "stickiness" of your site. On a simple level, you can create a banner or header in flash and it may be enough. On an extreme level, you can develop your entire site in flash as is illustrated in our sister flash site.
